Cheering Section for Girls on the Run
On the evening of Friday, May 6th we will be cheering on the runners of Girls on the Run of Greater Milwaukee at American Family Field, home of your Milwaukee Brewers. Join us to make some noise and cheer on these girls who are working hard to be their best, through running.
Sunbeam Families are encouraged to wear their SBK shirts and are welcome to make & bring signs cheering on the runners. Girls on the Run will provide pom poms, noise makers, and other festive supplies. The theme for the 5K is "Be Your Own Superhero" so feel free to wear sparkles and capes!
GOTR's mission is "we inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running." We can help inspire the participants...and our own kids!
This project is open to all ages and there is no capacity limit. Exact meeting location will be sent to attendees prior to the event.
