HopeFest 2024 Helpers
Overview:
Hope Without Borders-USA/International is a volunteer charitable organization that helps the in-need worldwide. It offers volunteer trips internationally by providing education, resources, medical care, and tools to ensure clean water. The projects focus on sustainability of both the projects and solutions. Locally, the organization has helped provide meals, clothing, and medical care to Milwaukee area homeless shelters (including the Washington County Foster Closet). International trips serve several countries in Africa, Central America, and South America.
Current and ongoing projects include: the East African Chicken Project (donating chickens to those in impoverished areas of Kenya and Tanzania), Ladies of Hope Sewing Co-Op, clean water, homeless outreach, Red Elephant Project (re-usable menstrual packages for young women), Blue Lion Project (personal hygiene kits for young men), Sole Mate Project (used shoes), Books Without Borders, and health care.

*While we rely on member donations to keep the good work going, we never want the $40/family/year to be a hurdle to volunteering with us. If you are in need of assistance, we do have a limited number of scholarships available that are 100% confidential, just email and ask!
